October Special:

We are running a special on our new Recipe boards this month. I love them! I'm always getting my recipes totally jacked up when I cook. I leave them on the counter and inevitably they get yucky with whatever ingredients I'm using. With the Recipe boards, I don't have to worry about messing up my recipes, and its versatile enough to fit my small 4 x 6 cards, or a full 8 x 11 sheet of paper. They are not only totally stylish, but they are a solution to my problem. I just love that! Its a win-win situation. So, we have them on sale for $16.95 (normally $21.95- an incredible deal!!). This board is featured in an Linen paint, with an antique carmel wash over it. They can be ordered in any paint or vinyl color (My board is black with white letters). Don't forget with the holidays approaching, these will also make really great Christmas gifts. Start thinking now...and while you're thinking about it, don't forget to order your easel too. Our wrought iron easels are classy, and very sturdy.

We've added a few new Fall Seasonal items you need to check out, with more to come, of course! I'm really trying hard to catch up on product entry here. Thanks for your patience as we continue to build our online store. Its been a great learning experience for us!

Events coming up:

*We have our LAST party/open house of the year coming up this week, on Wednesday, here in Sacramento. Thanks to dear sweet Megan for hosting another party/open house for us. She had an eLLeMeNOPea Open House last year, about this same time, which was awesome. Megan has graciously offered to open up her house to my regular customers who didn't get a chance to attend our Open House. So, if you'd like to go to Megan's party this Wednesday the 15th, please email me privately, and I'll get you the info.

*We are looking for a craft fair or holiday expo of some sort to participate in sometime towards the end of November/December, on a Saturday. If you know of any, please drop us an email and share your knowledge with us. Thank you, thank you!

Welcome-Open House Update

Well, we did it! We had our big Anniversary Open House, AND it didn't rain. Just a little eLLeMeNOPea trivia here: We opened our business in the Fall of 2006. At our Grand Opening Open House, in November, it poured rain, over the two day period we had the party. The next year, 2007, two big Open Houses, April: RAIN, September: RAIN. So we decided to just have one Open House a year, in honor of our business anniversary. Here we are, 2008, and we did it- NO RAIN- YEAH!!!!(That might have something to do with the fact that we are in a drought-however, it did rain this last weekend, so if we had scheduled it just one week later...)

Happy day! The party was a HUGE success, thanks to all of our customers who attended. We had a great time visiting and showcasing our new products, such as our door vinyl, featured here ON MY FRONT DOOR! Don't you just love it? It comes in a set with 4 additional seasonal door greetings (you customize the colors of course!), we will have it on our website to order within the next week or so. As a special thanks to all of you who did attend our Open House, we will be emailing you with a special customer appreciation gift.

Since we only have these once a year, we try to make them big and grand. Its the one time a year you can come and see EVERYTHING that we sell. We can't take all of our product to every party that our customer's host for us, but here, at my house, we bring it all out. Some products we will never sell online, and some unique products we have made that will only showcase once. It was awesome day. If you missed it, SORRY...but you really missed out! Rest assured, not only will we have another Open House next year, but we will have our new products available to buy online within the next week or so. I'll show a few pictures on my next post of some of our new products.
